Commercemesh Explained and Discovery Node demo

You are getting this update because at some point you shared your interest in knowing more about Commerce Mesh. Sorry for the radio silence all this while. We have been heads down bringing life to our our vision.

This is our first update and there are a lot of firsts in this update:

First of all, I want to explain in more detail about the vision. When I started Commercemesh, I had this vision of a decentralized commerce platform which unshackles brands from marketplace fees and monolithic (however microservices they are) commerce platforms. Marketplaces and commerce platforms hold brands so tight that one can't even dream of moving away from them. "Digital Transformation" is an industry which moves you from one prison to another of commerce platforms. So imagining something which provides the freedom of transition so simple that you don't need an IT team for it and does not cost you millions is something one cannot even fathom to image. Well, I had this vision, triggered (mostly) by the change which is happening on how humans will shop in the future (pretty soon). This change is unlike the previous changes of desktop to mobile, this change is a change of ecosystem. If you are a merchant, soon you will see all the 10+ so vendors you use to power your ecommerce website come to you with the AI version of their product. Well, that is all good but I believe there needs to be more because the core fundamentals of commerce needs a change with the new change coming - agentic commerce. Agentic commerce as I define is where you ask your AI agent (chatbot now) to find, trust and transact for you. Whether it is restocking on toilet paper or a considered purchase of a new TV before the games start, you will let an intelligent agent to do all the hard work of finding that TV for you.

Second update, we now have finally released the first version of our discovery node. In the core primitives of commerce - Discovery, Trust, Transact and Fulfill this is our first step towards completing the full commerce funnel. There are several use cases for the Discovery node other than that it has an MCP server which you can use in your favorite AI client.
The Discovery server can also act as your open product catalogue for anyone to query. Need to send a feed to a new emerging channel. Simply ask them to query the discovery node. The discovery node supports semantic query as well as simple filters. Want to add a semantic chat bot just like the new NikeAI app, great, It already supports that. Simply add a simple chat interface to your app or website and you have a live AI concierge supporting your customers to find the right product, right from your website or app or elsewhere.
